
Manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and processing invoices. Handle sensitive confidential assignments with tact, discretion, and diplomacy. Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful event execution. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for event staff and guests. Create and maintain event files, including contracts, budgets, and other documents. Provide on-site support during events, including managing registration, coordinating with vendors, and handling any issues that may arise. Provide administrative support, including managing email and phone communications, scheduling appointments, and drafting correspondence. Assist with the planning and execution of special events, including coordination with vendors, event logistics, and attendee management.
Perform a wide variety of administrative duties as required by the department and to effectively assist with multiple projects, identify priorities, and organize work efficiently to meet deadlines. This position reports to: Senior Director of Special Events This person will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support for events hosted by the church, including conferences, concerts, and other special events.
